Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist

Biodynamic Craniosacral therapy is a gentle yet very powerful therapy that interacts with the deep inherent healing forces within the body. By tuning into the body’s subtle rhythms, the body is encouraged to express its powerful self-healing potential. Craniosacral therapy offers the creation of a safe and non-judgemental space where itis possible for the release of congestion, compression and constriction in the whole body-mind system.

My Story

About me:

I was born and raised in Galicia, Spain where I studied for a Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design. After completing my studies, I had a busy and demanding job in an international company. After years of enduring stress, I encountered Craniosacral therapy on the recommendation of a friend. During the first sessions, I could gently be in contact and process the physical feelings and emotions that were locked down in my body.

My craniosacral therapist invited me to assist in a meditation centre, called Aruna, which follows the philosophy of Advaita. After two years of regular and intense practice, I became a meditation guide. This was the beginning of a personal journey. During these seven years of regular meditation practice at Aruna, I also attended many meditation retreats where I could experience a life imbued with more silence and simplicity as my love for nature deepened and I was able to spend more time in the countryside.

Practicing meditation began to awaken a fascination with the inner human potential. In 2018 I decided to change career and moved to the UK. I trained at the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust in London. During the intense two-year training I learned the palpation and verbal skills required for craniosacral practitioners and understood the natural forces that organise the body's form and function.

My fascination for learning how the body-mind system operates led me to train to be an osteopath. Currently, I am in my fourth year of an Osteopathy degree at the London School of Osteopathy.

What happens in a session?

During the first session, there is a discussion of your medical history and your reasons for coming for craniosacral therapy. During the treatment, you will remain fully dressed and usually lying on your back on the treatment table. I will gently make contact with my hands and listen to different body systems, as well as the subtler biorhythms. It is very common to feel deep relaxation and a sense of ease during the session, a sense of well-being and balance is common too.

Rate per hour: £70
